CFCyprus Marks Remembrance Sunday

CFCyprus Executive Office Councillor Maria Alexandrou attended the London Borough of Enfield’s official Remembrance Service where she laid a wreath on behalf of the Conservative Friends of Cyprus.

Remembrance services have been held across the country to remember and honour of all those who gave their lives for our freedom in World War I and subsequent wars. Among this number are the 30,000 Cypriots who fought in the Cyprus Regiment in World War II and the Muleteers in World War I.

We will remember them.
