CFCyprus Celebrates 30th Anniversary

The Conservative Friends of Cyprus marked their 30th Anniversary at a gala reception on Wednesday evening in the presence of Ministers, Members of Parliament and leading members of the British Cypriot community.

Celebrating the anniversary of the establishment of the organisation in 1992, distinguished guests and speakers included the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland the Rt Hon Brandon Lewis CBE MP, Minister for London and Under-Secretary of State for Small Businesses Paul Scully MP, High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus HE Andreas Kakouris, Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, CFC President the Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP, CFC Chairman Jason Charalambous, CFC Executive Officer Andre Chris and CFC Founder Dr Ian Twinn CBE.

CFCyprus is a volunteer-run organisation that promotes the Conservative Party across the UK, and works to strengthen the bonds between the UK, the Republic of Cyprus and the British Cypriot community. Read more about our history here.
